What is Edge Play?

This mean different things to different people. For some it means the edge of “normal” in BDSM, for others it means anything that could result in death if things go bad, for others it means something else. So, in the first instance, rope is not edge play and in the second rope is edge play. In many cases, the play activity overlaps both usages of the term.

The first definition is the one I use. What do I include; saline injections, sounds, fisting, and more. Of course, all these things are of great interest to me

Review: DomCon Atlanta 2009

DomCon Atlanta 2009 started with a great day of seminars with other professional Dommes. We discussed everything from pampering to the law. As the day progressed so did the number of attendees. Gaining others input and perspective is always interesting. Mostly, it was enriching getting to know others in the profession.
Friday was a day packed with seminars, friends, and FU N at the dungeon. It started with a ride to the Con on My boy’s motorcycle, 75 is NOT fast enough! Dea presented a class on anatomy and safety, and sled and I later attended classes on dungeon monitoring. Nikita presented her class on Swtiching, which was VERY well received . . . she looks forward to presenting this at more venues. Nikita, Dea, sled, and I all ended up at the dungeon that night; with Me working over sled for quite some time . . . ending up with quirting as CBT. (Which I was later told was some of our best play, EVER!)
Saturday was a BIG day for sled and I . . .he was again the demo bottom for Dea and sounds. This is how we met; so there is a special place in our heart for both Dea and sounds. After the demo, there was an advanced sounds demo using prostate play, electricity, and vibrators. Just, WOW!
I did end up going to the caning seminar. It was entirely different, erotic, and engrossing. Better as a performance piece than a demo; but INCREDIBLE.
My weekend was cut short just before this demo . . . see posting.

3rd Person

i am evolving as a slave. Those who have read my posts will note an immediate difference. i am no longer using the 3rd person “boy” when speaking of myself. The rationale and justification for that usage is now gone. i asked LadyHotchKiss near the beginning of O/our relationship what i should call myself and She asked me what i wished to be called. At the time, i decided i wanted to use the 3rd person “boy” as a tool to help me get into the proper headspace when serving, or for that matter, even thinking of Her. It has become no longer necessary. i am in the proper headspace nearly all the time now, and in fact, have to consciously monitor myself when in vanilla situations so that i don’t appear slave-like at inappropriate moments. There are other changes as well.

Lady HotchKiss has recently introduced me to edge play, previously a limit for me. And there is Her new pinwheel, custom made by a MasterCraftsman, which i had thought i would absolutely hate. Both of these utensils, in the hands of LadyHotchKiss, have brought me to sub-space much more quickly than any play prior to their introduction. LadyH’s skill during sessions has also exponentially increased. Her pacing seems much more deliberate and She seems to take one through stages…ups and downs, warming body parts up, causing pain, introducing soft sensations alternating between hard and soft with no apparent pattern yet when all is done, obviously with a pattern. She is learning to play me with the skill of a concert pianist. i can only hope that i remain an instrument worthy of Her.

A Well Used boy!

Last week, boy had a most memorable session with LadyH. If not the best session ever, certainly the second best ever. boy went completely and totally into subspace and though boy wanted more, boy is not sure he could have truly taken more. there was so much! It started with boy being bound to the table for the first time, and of course boy loves bondage so all by itself that was a thrill. But HotchKiss then proceeded to use Her new candles on boy…five different colors with, of course, five different temps. She also used the pinwheel on boy and with more pressure than ever before, leaving visible and bloody tracks all over boy’s torso and thighs. The knife, however, was what sent boy over the edge. As She was scraping wax off with the knife, boy felt the blade passing over his skin…in some very sensitive places. At one point, boy would have sworn that She was shaving boy’s chest completely. Towards the end, boy started shaking. HotchKiss called it shivering, but it wasn’t shivering. boy was vibrating and could not control it. Wherever She touched boy, boy vibrated, and it extended throughout boy’s body. All in all, it was a totally incredible experience. HotchKiss’s talent as a Domme is increasing exponentially and boy cannot wait to see how She evolves. boy has said it before and will repeat it now. boy is utterly and totally in thrall to LadyHotchKiss.

Black and Blue

Last weekend sled and I went to 1763 for an auction. Since I don’t really enjoy playing in public we had planned a “bootblacking” and foot worship scene. I use the “quotes”, I don’t really have BOOTS; I have ladies shoes!

There once was this guy that did some really BAD movies . . . forget that!

Really, we will never know what happened. But, millions will spend billions of hours ranting, debating, searching the web, and blogging about it! Even if “the public” (we) were given complete access to the body, autopsy reports, police reports, etc; there are STILL those that would claim some sort of conspiracy! We never seem satisfied or seem to believe the official story. It is SOOOOOO much better to believe that there is a conspiracy . . . if not, X-Files and Fringe wouldn’t have made it very far!

As for the circumstances, we will NEVER know the full story only the salacious details. If this was erotic asphyxiation . . . it was PREVENTABLE! I will refer to my earlier blog on Jay Wiseman . . . he advocates 2 things: 1) do not allow bondage to impair BREATHING and 2) don’t leave someone in bondage ALONE! Honestly, these seem like BOTH SSC and RACK and whatever else you practice; mostly they are common sense. Apparently, there is a dearth of commen sense! But, that is complaint well worn.

Mostly it is sad; as there are better ways to go.

In any situation, make sure YOU are SAFE. I was a lifeguard and trained lifeguards; the FIRST lesson is that no one else’s life is worth yours. While it appears to be common sense; it is easily forgotten in the heat of the moment. It is worth remembering; ALL THE TIME!
