House of Hotchkiss

I am so looking forward to attending DomCon Atlanta 2009.  Last year I went on Friday only; just to see what it was about.  I did manage to find a few things in the vendor area and attend classes on CBT and flogging.  This year, I am attending all 4 days and My boy and edward will be in attendance as well.  Several of my good friends are also participating and leading presentations:  Nikita and Domina Dea.

I was chosen as an industry presenter this year and will be moderating the Managing Your Business workshop on Thursday.  This should be an interesting topic; not nearly as DULL as the typical business meeting I facilitate!  lol.

Nikita is presenting “The Switch’s Dilemma” (Friday); a topic near and dear to her heart!  “Switches cover a spectrum of roles and in a lifestyle that is supposed to be accepting, they are misunderstood and in some cases denigrated. We have to deal with the complex emotional and societal issues that switching presents. What are they and how do some of us deal with it?” 

Dea is a sponsor and it presenting two classes:  “Anatomy and Safety 101” (Friday) and “Urethral Sounds 101” (Saturday).  edward and I will be in attendance at this; as he is the DEMO BOTTOM!  This demo is very special to us; as it is through this EXACT demo that we met.  Dea was demoing sounds at a local club, edward was the last minute bottom, and I was simply overwhelmed with his accepting demeanor.  Especially considering it was his FIRST time!  Wow.  I still get chills thinking about.  I think Dea also has something special planned for Saturday night at the dungeon?!?

 My boy got a new motorcycle recently; I am looking forward to arriving on it on Friday!  My first highway ride.
